How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Cancel anytime via the Stripe portal. What happens to your data on downgrade.

How to cancel or change

  1. Open the contractor app or sign in at havnwright.com/contractor.
  2. Go to Settings → Subscription.
  3. Click Manage subscription. This opens the Stripe customer portal.
  4. From the Stripe portal you can:
    • Cancel: stops the renewal at the end of the current billing period. You keep paid features until that date.
    • Switch plan: change to a higher or lower tier. Upgrades are pro-rated and take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
    • Update card / billing address / VAT details.

What happens to your data on downgrade

  • Active jobs: nothing is deleted. If your new tier has a limit (e.g. Starter's 10 active jobs) and you are over it, you keep your existing jobs but cannot create new ones until you are under the limit.
  • Team members: if you downgrade to Professional (no team), your team members are deactivated (not deleted). Reactivate by upgrading again.
  • Photos and documents: kept indefinitely regardless of tier.
  • Payments via Stripe Connect: Stripe Connect itself is not affected; we just stop showing the Payments tab. Existing scheduled payouts continue.

What happens on cancel (no plan)

You drop back to Starter (free). All your data stays in your account. You can resubscribe later and pick up exactly where you left off.

Refunds

We do not refund partial months. Cancel at any time before renewal to avoid the next charge.
