Energy Performance Certificates rate your home from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient)
Landlord Regulations (MEES)
The Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards currently require rental properties to have an EPC rating of E or above. By October 2030, all rental properties will need to meet a new standard equivalent to EPC C. A £10,000 cost cap per property applies, and non-compliance can result in fines up to £30,000.
