Is my data private?

What we store

We store what you give us: the projects you create, the photos you upload, the quotes you save, the messages you send within the platform. We store account basics (email, password hash, name if you provided one) so you can sign back in.

We do not sell your data, ever. We do not run third-party ad networks on the homeowner dashboard.

What we share with contractors

Only what you choose to. If you upload a quote, the contractor who sent it sees that they sent it (because they sent it). If you message a contractor, they see the message. Your dashboard, your projects and your saved estimates are private to you.

Who can see your photos

Photos in project galleries and your inspiration boards are private to your account by default. We do not surface them publicly. (Verified inspiration images you see in the gallery are stock-style images we have curated, not other users' projects.)

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can, at any time:

• Download all your data as a JSON export (Dashboard → Settings → Privacy → Data Export)
• Delete your account and all associated data (see how to delete my account)
• Withdraw consent for non-essential processing (analytics, marketing emails) at any time
