Is Havnwright free to use?
The short answer: yes for homeowners, today. Where paid features may appear in future.
For homeowners: yes, Havnwright is free today. No payment, no card on file, no trial expiry.
That covers:
- The cost calculator (including Scope of Works download)
- Inspiration gallery
- Creating projects and tracking them through to completion
- Uploading and comparing quotes
- Photo galleries, snag lists, document vault
- The retrofit / energy efficiency tools
- All planning guides and articles
What is paid
The contractor side of Havnwright is subscription-based. Contractors pay a monthly subscription (Starter / Professional / Business / Scale) to manage their business through the mobile app and contractor portal.
That separation matters: homeowners pay nothing, and we are funded by contractor subscriptions on the other side of the marketplace.
Will it ever cost homeowners money?
We may introduce premium features for homeowners (more in-depth reports, expert-reviewed Scope of Works) in future. The core toolkit (calculator, projects, quotes, inspiration) will remain free.
If anything changes you will see clear notice in your dashboard before any charge could happen. We will never auto-bill a free account.
